Eg Home Solutions provides residential home improvement and property maintenance services including but not limited to: bathroom and kitchen renovations, interior and exterior painting, outdoor living and landscaping, plumbing and electrical services, home extensions and additions, and general property maintenance.
All services are performed in compliance with the Building Act 2011 (WA), the Home Building Contracts Act 1991 (WA), and the Australian Consumer Law. Building work requiring a permit will only be carried out under a valid building permit issued by the relevant local authority.
Nothing on this Site constitutes building, structural, or engineering advice. Content relating to services and pricing is general in nature and subject to a formal quote.
All quotes are provided free and without obligation. A quote becomes a binding contract only when both parties have signed a written agreement (or in the case of residential building work valued under $20,000, as otherwise permitted by the Home Building Contracts Act 1991 (WA)).
Any variation to the agreed scope of work must be documented in writing and signed by both parties before the variation is carried out, in accordance with the Home Building Contracts Act 1991 (WA). Variations may result in changes to the contract price and/or timeline.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty, or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) that cannot be lawfully excluded or limited.
Where our services are supplied to a consumer under the ACL, you may have consumer guarantees including that services are rendered with due care and skill, are fit for any disclosed purpose, and are completed within a reasonable time.
In addition to any statutory warranties, Eg Home Solutions provides a workmanship warranty on completed works as specified in the individual service contract.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for a breach of a non-excludable consumer guarantee is limited (at our election) to:

Either party may terminate a service engagement in accordance with the terms of the written contract. Upon termination:
In accordance with the Home Building Contracts Act 1991 (WA), a Client may cancel a contract within the cooling-off period specified in that Act.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Site at any time without notice.

We may update these Terms at any time by publishing the revised version on our Site. The revised Terms will be effective from the date of publication. Continued use of the Site or engagement of our services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
